PRN opportunity for a qualified CT Technologist, with at least three years of experience, to fill in for various shifts as needed at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Wilkes Medical Center in North Wilkesboro, NC.

What You Will Do:

Assist the radiologists and other staff physicians with invasive procedures, patient scheduling, clerical and image processing functions, participating in the CT call plan, managing the flow of patients and processes, and working in general diagnostic radiology when needed. Performs diagnostic radiology and CT procedures by utilizing equipment and employing techniques and procedures that are appropriate to the entire span of ages served in accordance with accepted standards of practice, and demonstrating expertise in limiting radiation exposure to patients and other members of the health care team.

What You Will Need:

• Associate Degree from an approved program in Radiologic Technology.
• Current registration with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) in Radiography.
• Current BLS (CPR) certification.
• Must meet all required elements of competency checklists for advancement level and have 3 years experience as a registered CT Technologist.
• Registry eligible for CT allowed and must become registered within 12 months of hire.

Skills for Success:

• Ability to communicate on a professional level with physicians, nurses and other ancillary professional staff when discussing procedures and patient's care
• Ability to maintain daily schedules
• Clinical skills to enable recognition and to function accordingly in relation to priorities of patient needs
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy
• Completes 24 hours of required continuing educations every two years

Pay Range
$34.90 - $52.35
