Executive Assistant, Nature Playscapes
Reports to: Nature Playscapes CEO
Work schedule: Part-time 15-25 hours/week
Location: Great Lakes Region (Hybrid - Remote/Onsite). Monthly in-person assignments, often located in Portage, MI.
Compensation: $20-$26/hour based on qualifications. Opportunity for growth as company expands.

Nature Playscapes is a small but growing Michigan based design-create (build) company that specializes in creating custom, nature-connected play and learning environments. Our mission is for every child to have daily access to inclusive and playful nature environments within their local schools, parks and community spaces.
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized, energetic, and positive individual to serve as Executive Assistant to the CEO. This role involves administrative support, sales support, client communication, scheduling, research, marketing assistance and business development tasks. Ideal for a quick learner, comfortable multitasking in a dynamic smallbusiness environment who thrives taking on and learning new tasks frequently.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized support to the CEO.
- Prospect for project opportunities by reviewing detailed and lengthy Requests for Proposals (RFPs), monitor bid opportunity platforms and connect with prime professional organizations.
- Assist with proposal preparations, procure materials, schedule jobs, coordinate with crews and subcontractors, schedule deliveries and track timelines.
- Assist with business development tasks such as market research, building strategic partnerships
- and developing growth strategies.
- Gather and organize marketing content, prepare materials, enhance social media presence, photograph project sites and coordinate website updates.
- Communicate professionally with clients via phone and email.
- Manage email inbox, maintain organized digital files, and support CRM updates.
- Contribute a positive, adaptable, highenergy presence in daily operations.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills
- 4-year degree in Recreation Management or Business preferred, or 2–3+ years experience in administrative or executive support roles.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Teams.
- Sales support and Marketing experience preferred.
- Interest in parks, nature, playgrounds or outdoor learning environments.
- Selfstarter with adaptability and professionalism.
