Job Description:
Description of Duties:
The Center for Human Services Research, University at Albany is seeking an hourly Data Collector to conduct in-home interviews and observations with youth and families involved in children's behavioral health services, enter data into computer data systems, and assist with other evaluation activities.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience with a variety of data collection strategies, particularly in-person and phone-based interviews
  • Experience with computer tasks including proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and data entry, particularly with data entry in online data management systems
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a culturally diverse population, particularly with families with children with emotional and behavioral changes
  • Flexible schedule/availability to conduct data collection in Brooklyn, Queens, and the Bronx and participate in remote supervision during business hours throughout the week (e.g., phone calls, virtual meetings, etc.)
  • Self-directed and able to work independently from home
  • High School Diploma
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with meetings with youth, caregivers, and providers (e.g., child and family team meetings, wraparound meetings, or individualized education plan meetings)
  • Experience with conducting in-person observation and documentation review
  • Some postsecondary education in Social Sciences or Human Services
