Student Information Systems Coordinator
Reports to: Director of Business Services
Salary Range: $87,637.00 - $95,411.00
Salary Exempt and Onsite
12 Month position 260 day

Purpose: Under the general direction of the Director of Business Services, manage and coordinate student Qmlativ maintenance, oversee the student records system, support the implementation and use of the Qmlativ Student Information System (SIS), and assist in state and federal reporting.
Essential Functions:State reporting of enrollment:Manage and coordinate the student records system, ensuring compliance with district, state, and federal requirements.
Assist school staff in managing student records, including enrollment, scheduling, attendance, transcripts, and graduation requirements.
Ensure data accuracy in the Qmlativ system, supporting state reporting and assessment tracking.
Qmlativ Support and Training: Provide training for building staff responsible for Qmlativ functions, including user management and report generation.
Act as the primary support for staff using Qmlativ, including troubleshooting, training, and system navigation assistance.
Develop and implement training programs for district and school staff related to Qmlativ, and other relevant software tools.
Reporting and Compliance:Compile and process monthly enrollment information and Alternative Learning Experience (ALE) data.
Prepare and submit required reports to the state, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with established timelines.
Liaison and Collaboration:Serve as the district liaison to OSPI data and assessment services and ESD 112 for district records management.
Attend user meetings and training sessions, providing updates and information to district staff regularly.
Customer Service and Support:Assist buildings staff with families and students Qmlativ access issues, providing excellent customer service.
Manage Qmlativ data department staff and direct the work of temporary support staff as needed.
Other Related Duties:Perform other duties as assigned to support the district's student records and systems management.
Position may supervise.
Professional Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Data Science or equivalent experience. A combination of training and experience may be substituted for education.
A combination of education, training, Qmlativ data management experience, automation project experience, drive to research and lead process automation.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Tools, Adobe, Qmlativ, and similar programs.
Strong communication skills, including preparing and delivering effective training and presentations.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities effectively.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle confidential matters ethically and professionally.
Working ConditionsWork is performed in an office environment and across district facilities.
This position involves approximately 60% sitting, 20% walking, and 20% standing in a generally clean and healthy environment.
Requires dexterity for computer and office equipment operation.
Must be able to manage multiple concurrent tasks and frequent interruptions.

Benefits:
School Employee Benefit Board (SEBB) Eligibility determination: All eligibility determinations are based on rules in Chapters 182-30 and 182-31 of the Washington Administrative Code (WAC). If the position is anticipated to work a minimum of 630 hours in a school year, then that position would be deemed benefit eligible. SEBB benefits include medical, vision, dental, long-term disability and life insurance. Supplemental coverages are also available.
Retirement Eligibility determination: A certificated position participates in the Teacher Retirement System (TRS) which requires at least 5 months of 70 or more hours of compensated employment during a school year to be eligible for Washington State Retirement. A classified position participates in the School Employee Retirement System (SERS) if the position is expected to require at least 5 months of 70 hours or more for two consecutive years (initially) of employment.
