The Role
Now Hiring: Bilingual (English/Spanish) Janitorial Supervisor
Ready to take the lead after hours? Join our team overseeing multiple court facilities throughout the San Gabriel Valley!
Shift: 5:00 PM 1:30 AM
Pay: $26$28/hr. (DOE)
We're seeking a dependable, hands-on leader who's bilingual in English and Spanish, takes pride in their work, and ensures smooth operations each night.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Visit and oversee a different court facility in the San Gabriel Valley each evening to ensure all sites are properly maintained and staffed.
Provide onsite supervision of janitorial staff, monitor supplies and equipment, and communicate daily assignments to team members.
Model and coach the team on proper safety practices and effective use of safety equipment; follow all safety procedures when using chemicals and machinery.
- Develop and guide employees, address routine employee relations matters, and partner with Human Resources when additional support is needed.
- Onboard and train new employees, ensuring a clear understanding of policies, procedures, equipment use, chemical handling, and safe work practices.
- Build and maintain excellent working relationships with clients, coworkers, and leadership.
- Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.
What It Takes To Be Successful
Minimum 3 years of experience in environmental services, custodial, or housekeeping operations, including prior supervisory experience.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with team members and client staff.
Proven ability to set, achieve, and exceed goals through effective leadership and accountability.
Skilled at training, coaching, mentoring, and, when necessary, providing corrective feedback to employees.
Comfortable with technology and timekeeping systems; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
