Major/Essential Functions
- Assist the Chair and Program Directors in the development of innovative programs in health management and leadership.
- Involvement in student learning through teaching and institutional research.
- Advise students regarding program requirements and degree plans of study.
- Provide program management support regarding instructional design and compliance.
- Assist Program Directors as requested by serving as lead faculty on courses aligning with faculty expertise.
- Assist with onboarding new adjunct faculty and sustainment training with respect to courses serving as lead.
- Assist in establishing national-level recognition regarding health-related programs.
- Service to the profession and to the wider academic community.
- Service to the department, campus and university-wide committees.
- Participation in professional development to maintain expertise in teaching topics.
- Demonstrate integrity, professional maturity, commitment and accountability according to the five values described in our Values-Based Culture: One Team, Kind Hearted, Integrity, Visionary, and Beyond Service.
- Applicants for Assistant/Associate level; rank and salary are dependent upon qualifications and experience.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Healthcare Administration or closely related field, i.e. Health Informatics, Statistics
- Experience with Research Methods and Statistics, Data Analytics, and Health Information Technology.
- Knowledge in the application of the Excel Analysis Toolpak to run standard statistical tests.
- Experience with Data Analytics and Health Information Technology.
