About the Role

Hidden Valley Golf Club is looking for a motivated, reliable, and growth-minded individual to join our team as an Assistant Golf Operations Coordinator. This role is perfect for someone early in their career who wants to learn the business of golf, gain leadership experience, and be part of a team focused on improving member experience and daily operations.

Essential Responsibilities

What You'll Do

You'll be trained in all areas of the operation and will gradually take on more responsibility as you grow.

Daily Operations

• Help open and close the Pro Shop
• Provide excellent customer service to members and guests
• Assist with tee sheet management and answering phones
• Maintain a clean, organized, professional Pro Shop environment

Cart & Range Oversight

• Help oversee cart & range staff and ensure tasks are completed
• Ensure carts are cleaned, charged, and staged correctly
• Support range operations (ball picking, maintenance, monitoring levels)

Tournaments & Events

• Assist with tournament setup (scorecards, signage, pairings)
• Support day-of-event needs and member communications
• Learn the tournament software and help build events over time

Merchandise & Inventory Support

• Receive and tag new merchandise
• Keep displays neat and organized
• Restock and maintain inventory levels

Growth & Development

As you develop, you will have opportunities to take ownership in areas including:

• Tournament administration
• Merchandise & retail operations
• Pro Shop standards and systems
• Staff training and coordination
• Member service initiatives

Schedule & Expectations

• Must be available weekends and peak-season days
• Role includes a mix of indoor Pro Shop work and outdoor tasks
• Ability to lift up to ~30 lbs (range bags, signage, supplies)
• Comfortable being on your feet and moving throughout the da
