This position will assist the management of daily golf operations including tracking play, protecting and controlling assets, acting as a resource to the Golf Operations Managers and golf team. In addition you will also assist with all merchandising functions, tournaments, and providing other professional services to ensure an exceptional golf experience.

Experience Required

This position might be for you if you possess:

• A valid California drivers license
• The ability to work in a fast paced environment and be able to maintain organization and a positive attitude
• A solid understanding of the game of golf
• Minimum one years golf course experience
• The ability to interact professionally with members and guests and deliver exceptional customer service
• Good communication and interpersonal (must work well in a team environment)
• Excellent computer software knowledge (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
• The ability to learn and efficiently work in a retail environment including use of a cash register
• Strong comprehension of English language (oral & written)
• Prior teaching experience preferred but not required.
• PGA Associate or higher is preferred but not required.

Essential Responsibilities

As an Assistant Golf Professional, you'll have the opportunity to:

• Act as receptionist to all guests coming in and/or calling the golf shop
• Assist with coordinating details of golf events
• Reserve tee times for members and outside guests; collect payment for tee times and golf shop retail purchases using the Point-of-Sales system
• Complete the opening and closing procedures of the golf shop as required
• Attend to guest requests as required, including club repair services
• Assist with the cleaning, inventory, and maintaining the golf shop's appearance and merchandise
• Ship and receive parcel services
• Assist with the Supervision of the Daily Golf Operation
• Execute all duties as requested by immediate supervisors
