A banquet supervisor oversees the setup, service and breakdown of banquet events. They coordinate with the banquet manager, kitchen and service teams to make sure each event runs smoothly and follows hotel standards. Their core duties includes -

Reviewing event orders and confirming room setup, timing, and service details

Leading the banquet team during events, assigning tasks and monitoring performance

Ensuring food and beverage service is efficient, accurate and aligned with guest expectations

Communicating with clients or event organizers during functions to handle any requests or issues

Maintaining inventory of banquet supplies and ensuring equipment is clean and ready

Overseeing event cleanup and preparing the space for the next function

Helping resolve guest concerns and ensuring overall satisfaction .

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift a moderate amount of weight
• Experience and a thorough understanding of banquet service
