Job Summary
Supervise and lead a team of clinical psychologists and multidisciplinary professional staff while serving as a chief psychologist, program director, or expert consultant. Responsibilities include overseeing psychological services programs, providing psychotherapy and consultation, supporting prevention and education initiatives, conducting training and research activities, and ensuring quality mental health care services. The role requires directing staff performance, assigning work, evaluating outcomes, providing guidance and discipline when necessary, and maintaining compliance with professional standards and regulations.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or a related psychology specialty from an accredited institution.
Completion of required clinical internship or equivalent professional experience.
Ability to supervise, assign, direct, and evaluate professional staff.
Professional post-doctoral clinical psychology experience may be required.
Ability to obtain or maintain licensure to practice psychology.
Strong leadership, counseling, communication, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work within correctional or institutional settings and comply with applicable regulations and policies.
