Position Summary Information
| Job Description Summary: | The Community Engagement Coordinator for tax preparation position is for students who wish to work in the community providing tax preparation assistance. Work is done off campus with CEIBA, a Latino coalition building organization serving Philadelphia. More information on CEIBA is found here: https://www.ceibaphiladelphia.org/. Coordinators work on various research, writing, and community engagement projects related to Service Deliver and/or policy in the following areas: • Asset Building for Low-Wage Working Families • Tax Credits for Low-Income Families and Unauthorized Immigrants • Affordable Housing • Equitable Community Development • Rights of Limited English Proficient Populations • Nonpartisan Voting Rights |
