This position is a part of our Project Management department assists the project team at the project site in preparing project reports, coordinating project meetings, and preparing invoices in accordance with the client contract under minimal supervision from the project management team. This role is supporting a large hospitality client. Come join our team!
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Set up the project filing system.
- Manage confidential project information utilizing a database, software, or filing system.
- Formulate procedures for systematic retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records in conjunction with the client contract.
- Implement documentation policies, processes, and databases to ensure compliance and quality control.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely implementation of changes to controlled documents.
- Assist the project and commercial management teams with planning, managing, and coordinating all aspects of the project schedule, scope, and cost.
- Assist the project and commercial management teams with value engineering, preparation of cost estimates, cost studies, actual job cost reviews, and budget reconciliation.
- Under the supervision of Project and/or Commercial Manager, facilitate job site meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
- Support in the development, management, and execution of regular project reporting and tracking tools.
- Communicate with and manage project stakeholders as needed.
- Evaluate documents and communicate the client's specific goals and expectations to all project team members.
- Re-evaluate the contract scope of work as the project progresses against the goals, expectations, and the needs of the client, and recommend adjustments as necessary.
- Organize and maintain framework for project team processes and record keeping of electronic and physical documents.
- Track the permitting process to ensure the applicable permits are moving through the process efficiently.
- Ensure the project design management continues to follow the client project documents such as budget, scope, schedule, and client's design standards.
- Under supervision of Project and/or Commercial Manager, track close out documents and activities.
- MBE / WBE Tracking
- General office administration duties
- Other duties as assigned.
- Attendance at work during normal business hours.
Knowledge & Skills Required:
- Experience with scanning and converting documents to various specified file formats.
- Knowledge of proper security and preservation of controlled data, documents & records.
- Utilize effective written and oral communication skills.

Preferred Education and Experience:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management
Experience: 5+ years of experience, in project management or construction management and administration
Preferred certifications:
Primavera Systems Certification or equivalent for document control software usage

The salary range for this full-time role is $55,000.00-$69,666.67 per year. Ranges are determined based on the position, geography, client and industry experience and level, and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range reflects base salary only, and not the total compensation package. Cumming Group reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on a candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications, including client requirements.In addition to base salary, Cumming Group offers a comprehensive benefits package including:
