Description
Summary:
The Donor Experience team plays a vital role in creating exceptional experiences for our donors through strategic events, communication, and operations. The Donor Experience Associate helps to facilitate engagement between donors and the Foundation, ensuring seamless coordination of touchpoints, from fund statements and grant transfers to meaningful stewardship communications and educational campaigns. This position reports to the Senior Donor Experience Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing events, including cultivation gatherings, stewardship receptions, Giving Circle convenings, and recognition programs.
- Manage aspects of event logistics, including venue coordination, catering, registration, materials preparation, and on-site support.
- Oversee aspects of the Donor Journey to ensure an exceptional experience for donors.
- Work collaboratively with the Development and Community Philanthropy teams to onboard new and existing donors who establish new funds with the Foundation.
- Support proposal workflows, ensuring timely processing, accurate documentation, and follow-up stewardship.
- Oversee the production and distribution of quarterly fund statements for all donor-advised fund donors and advisors, and other fundholders.
- Execute personalized stewardship communications including acknowledgment letters, tribute and memorial gift notifications, and impact reports to ensure timely, accurate, and warm donor correspondence that reflects the Foundation's values.
- Implement donor engagement campaigns using ThankView video platform and execute planned giving and donor education campaigns through Crescendo software.
- Track campaign metrics and provide reporting on engagement and outcomes.
- Provide project-based support to the Senior Donor Experience Officer and broader Advancement team supporting special initiatives and organizational priorities as needed.
- Maintain donor communication records and track stewardship touchpoints.
- Enter and update biographical data on donors, prospects, and constituents in Foundant (C-Suite), the Foundation’s CRM, ensuring timely and accurate data entry and reports.
- Assist with data management and reporting using C-Suite.
- Other related duties.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and data/information management.
- Experience with donor databases and CRM systems (Foundant, Raiser's Edge, or similar) preferred.
- Familiarity with ThankView, Crescendo, or similar donor engagement platforms preferred.
- Familiarity with event and membership management platforms.
Education and Experience:
Degree requirement can be substituted with equivalent practical experience.
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in nonprofit management, communications, hospitality, or related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in donor relations, development operations, event planning, or related role in a fundraising or nonprofit environment.
- Ability to work occasional evenings for events.
