HFG are currently working with an award-winning insurtech on an exciting opportunity for a junior finance professional to make real impact.


This role reports directly to the Financial Controller and goes beyond standard finance tasks, offering genuine ownership, process improvement, and collaboration with teams across the company.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing daily reconciliations across payments, banking, and accounts.
• Handling accounts payable/receivable, journals, accruals, and prepayments.
• Supporting month-end close and management reporting.
• Collaborating with brokers and internal teams to resolve queries and improve workflows.
• Identifying opportunities to streamline or automate processes.

Requirements:

• 12 months of experience in a finance role (e.g. analyst, assistant accountant)
• Exposure to process automation tools or data analysis software.
• Is studying towards ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
• A proactive mindset with a genuine passion for process improvement and using data to drive smarter, more efficient workflows.
