The ideal person for this position has provided outpatient mental health therapy to clients for at least 2 years, has experience and understanding of requirements of documentation for Medicaid-insured individuals, and has 6-hours of approved clinical supervision training around the competencies of clinical supervision of unlicensed providers. Be available by text/phone during these times to assist with suicide assessments and/or other client crises that arise with interns in session with clients. Work with students to ensure appropriate suicide assessments of clients are conducted, when they reach out for assistance. Learn from them what has been assessed, coach or advise interns to get additional information, or join session with student intern to complete appropriate safety assessment and disposition of any client crises.
