Assist the payroll & HR function across two growing businesses. Your new company
An exciting opportunity, due to growth, exists for an experienced part-time Payroll & HR Administrator to join a professional services group operating across two businesses under a single payroll entity. This is a pivotal role, offering autonomy, variety, and the chance to drive process excellence in a dynamic environment.
Your New Role
Reporting to senior leadership and working closely with finance, you will be responsible for:

End-to-end payroll processing for 70 employees across 3 awards (primarily 2)

Ensuring HR compliance with award interpretation, pay rates, onboarding/offboarding, and employee records

Managing timesheets, leave, and payroll governance

Administering STP, superannuation, and year-end processes

Supporting recruitment and maintaining Employment Hero (EH) system integrity

Collaborating with finance on reconciliations, journals, and audit preparation

Driving process efficiency and upholding professional standards in all HR/payroll transactions

What You'll Need to Succeed

Proven experience in payroll and HR administration

Strong understanding of Australian employment legislation and award compliance

Proficiency with Employment Hero (preferable, but not essential).

Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities

Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
