Description
Position Title: Project Coordinator
Location: Chicopee, MA
Pay Range: $25.00 - $35.00
Salary Interval: Full Time Hourly

Position Description
Position Summary:
The Project Coordinator supports the planning, execution, and completion of commercial paving projects. As a Project Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality commercial paving projects. You'll collaborate with experienced project managers, site supervisors, and clients, gaining hands-on experience and exposure to all phases of construction. This is an ideal opportunity for recent graduates or professionals seeking to advance their career in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
Position Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Coordination:
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating projects from start to finish.
- Support project managers in aligning activities and resources.
- Documentation & Compliance:
- Prepare and manage submittals, RFIs, contracts, permits, and technical documents.
- Maintain accurate records, budgets, and compliance documentation.
- Operations & Logistics:
- Coordinate materials, equipment, and trucking logistics.
- Monitor schedules and billing, working closely with estimating teams.
- Bidding & Analysis:
- Prepare bid packages and support bidding processes using industry software.
- Collaborate with accounting to analyze project data and drive process improvements.
- Project Close-Out:
- Finalize paperwork, warranty documentation, and project reviews.
 
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Recent graduates encouraged to apply; prior experience in construction or paving is a plus.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Experience with bidding and project management software (B2W, Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project) preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contracts.
- Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CCM) are a plus but not required.
