Our dedicated team provides exceptional outpatient services in occupational, speech, physical therapy.
Kids Center is a collaborative multi-disciplinary non-profit outpatient therapy center for children up to 21 years of age who experience developmental disabilities or delays. At Kids Center, professionals from various fields work together to create comprehensive treatment plans that best support each child’s journey. More than 1,000 kids receive care annually at Kids Center, and we deliver more than 700 visits per week. Kids Center has a team of 60, including direct service providers, administration, marketing/development, and leadership.
THE OPPORTUNITY
The Senior Manager, Revenue Cycle and Operations is a key role responsible for overseeing the organization’s revenue cycle, facilities, and IT operations. This position ensures the accuracy and efficiency of billing and collections, manages relationships with insurance providers, and leads a team of staff in delivering high-quality administrative support. Additionally, the role includes oversight of facilities management and coordination with our outsourced IT firm to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
CANDIDATE RESPONSIBILITIES
Revenue Cycle Management
Oversee end-to-end revenue cycle operations, processing over 700 claims weekly across dozens of insurance providers.
Ensure timely and accurate submission of claims and resolution of denials.
Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as days in accounts receivable, clean claim rate, and collection rate.
Manage billing of past due balances and implement effective collection strategies.
Ensure compliance with payer requirements and regulatory guidelines.
Collaborate with families to resolve billing questions with empathy and clarity.
Team Leadership
Supervise and support billing and revenue cycle staff.
Provide training, guidance, and performance evaluation.
Serve as a resource for day-to-day questions from staff and families.
Facilities Management
Oversee the maintenance, safety, and functionality of all physical locations.
Coordinate repairs, inspections, and vendor relationships.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and accessibility standards.
Support space planning and improvements to enhance service delivery.
IT Oversight
Serve as the primary liaison with the outsourced IT firm.
Ensure timely resolution of technical issues affecting staff and operations.
Coordinate technology upgrades, software implementations, and system maintenance.
Support data security and compliance with HIPAA and other relevant regulations.
Other tasks as requested by supervisor.
Requirements
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree required
3 years of experience in revenue cycle management, preferably in pediatric or therapy services
Experience in facilities oversight and vendor coordination
Familiarity with IT systems and working with outsourced IT providers
Strong knowledge of commercial insurance and Medicaid billing practices
Willingness to explore and integrate AI-driven tools and automation
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Willing to undergo background check, TB test, and drug testing
