Description
Temporary Copy Center Specialist
The Office of Business, Hospitality and Auxiliary Services is seeking a Temporary Copy Center Specialist to work in our Copy Cat location in Scaife Hall (Medical School). Copy Cat is the University of Pittsburgh's full-service, on-campus print center. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Operates print and bindery equipment to reproduce a variety of printed products.
- Provides consultation and assistance to customers to fulfill print and bind requests.
- Reports inventory levels of paper, bindery supplies, toner, and other consumables to lead operator.
- Follows start-up and close-down procedures, completes daily production logs, and records appropriate information for data entry.
- Stocks shelves and stages supplies required for production.
- Performs data entry
- Other duties as assigned.

Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs., sitting, extensive standing, walking, kneeling.
General copy center knowledge is preferred, such as trimming, binding, etc.
Pre-press knowledge is highly preferred - taking customers' documents to resize for product.

Work Schedule: Hours/days vary within Monday - Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

Requested Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour
