About Whiz KidsSince 1996, Whiz Kids has provided transformative, after-school literacy tutoring and faith-based mentoring to elementary students in the Oklahoma City area who are reading below grade level and facing challenging circumstances. We help students learn to read so they can read to learn. With over 1,000 dedicated volunteers and more than 600 children served weekly across 30 sites, our program is not just successful it is positioned for growth.
