Description
POSITION TITLE
- 6-12 CTE and Flexible Learning Option (ALE) Position
- 0.5 FTE – Position (potential for up to a 1.0 FTE with the growth of ALE)
- Beginning in the 2026-2027 School Year
- Secondary endorsement preferred
- Primary teaching assignment will be CTE in the Middle School, with one class in the High School
- Secondary assignment will be within the ALE/Parent Partnership program

Requirements
Demonstrate ability to design and implement eective, relevant, and engaging instruction in CTE courses at the middle and/or high school level.
Have a passion for CTE and the ability to share that passion with Middle School & High School students.
Knowledge and experience in woodshop, AgCommunications, and other middle school CTE electives.
Exhibit strong instructional strategies, curriculum adaptation, behavior management skills in promoting positive student behavior, and skills in both formative and summative assessment practices.
Knowledge of College in the High School classes/credit oerings and/or willingness to attend institutes and trainings to get high school courses aligned for college credit.
Knowledge of subject matter, and familiarity and understanding of the learning standards for CTE courses.
Exhibit strong skills and ability to communicate eectively with students and parents, and willingness to facilitate family involvement and engagement to help students succeed.
Be enthusiastic, open-minded, and exible in meeting the needs of students, the school, the district, and the community.
Demonstrate the ability to communicate clearly and eectively in both oral and written forms, and collaborate with parents and school sta.
Maintains and submits student records and progress in a timely manner, and is willing to communicate student progress with parents/guardians/caretakers.
Maintains professionalism by being a strong role model for students, by actively participating in professional development activities, and demonstrates a commitment to support department and school-wide goals and practices.
Fulll other responsibilities as assigned by the building principal or superintendent.
Multiple endorsement preferred.
Interest in coaching and serving as a class/club advisor position, preferred
Willingness to become a key member of a highly functioning PLC team
Willingness or experience teaching Alternative Learning Classes
