The Marketing Department is seeking a Business Development & Marketing Coordinator to support a wide range of marketing and business development initiatives. Working closely with business development managers, attorneys, and professional staff, this position plays a key role in enhancing the firm’s visibility and strengthening client relationships across the West Coast markets, including Seattle, San Francisco, Silicon Valley, and Los Angeles.
The successful candidate will primarily support webinars, sponsorships, conferences, pitches and proposals, and submissions to legal directories and publications. The Coordinator may also provide support to practice groups, industry teams, and firmwide initiatives as needed. This position reports to the Senior Manager of Marketing & Business Development.
This position is based in the firm’s San Francisco office and follows a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities:
Collaborating with Regional Marketing Managers to support a broad range of marketing and business development activities.
Coordinating logistics for in-person and virtual conferences, seminars, forums, sponsorships, speaking engagements, and other events across the California and Seattle markets; providing onsite support for internal and external events as needed.
Preparing first drafts of pitches, RFP responses, client presentations, and other business development and marketing materials.
Maintaining and updating experience records and other practice-related content in firm databases to support future business development efforts.
Coordinating the collection of data and production of submissions for legal directories and rankings, including Chambers, Legal 500, and regional industry publications.
Updating and maintaining marketing collateral, including brochures, one-pagers, PowerPoint presentations, attorney biographies, and experience lists, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and adherence to firm branding standards.
Assisting with the editing, production, and distribution of newsletters, alerts, and other client-facing communications.
Developing a strong understanding of assigned markets, including attorney experience, client relationships, and strategic initiatives.
Utilizing CRM platforms, including InterAction, to identify and validate relationship targets, develop targeted contact lists, and support attorney outreach and business development campaigns.
Managing and updating relevant content on the firm's website, including attorney biographies, representative matters, and experience highlights.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Prior experience with CRM platforms and marketing databases, such as InterAction and Foundation, is preferred.
Knowledge of business development and marketing practices within a professional services environment is preferred; law firm experience is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational, project management, and time-management abilities, with exceptional attention to detail.
Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities effectively.
Ability to communicate professionally and confidently with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting with shifting priorities and deadlines.
Sound judgment, discretion, and a high degree of professionalism in handling confidential and sensitive information.
Commitment to producing high-quality work and delivering exceptional client service.
Flexibility to work outside normal business hours when necessary to support events, deadlines, and other business needs.
Occasional travel may be required.
The anticipated base salary for this position is $63,500 to $79,400 The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.

As a nonexempt position, this position is eligible for overtime.
The firm may provide a discretionary bonus annually.
